Simultaneous Submissions

RBE is not adverse to simultaneous submissions as long as an author declares such intentions in advance.

Authors choosing to simultaneously submit should understand the possible consequences of doing so. An author receiving simultaneous acceptances is responsible for promptly informing all publishers once the author has agreed to a particular offer. RBE appreciates being duly informed of an author’s decision before being forced to drop a work. However, if RBE has already paid the author for the work, RBE will not release the author from the contract. It falls upon the author to keep this unpleasant situation from happening.
