Previously Published Work
RBE does not generally consider work that has been printed by an author for personal friends or appeared on an author’s personal blog as “previously published” work. RBE is willing to consider such work on an individual basis.
Authors submitting work that has been made available in such methods or work that is otherwise previously published must indicate such information in their query. Information that should be included is the previous publication date(s) of the work, proof the rights to the work have reverted to the author, and a brief accounting of the work’s previous publication success. Authors who are still under contract with another entity must wait until the expiration of any contract(s) before submitting work to RBE.
