RBE is currently ONLY soliciting short fiction, art, and verse for announced titles with open submission periods (such titles can be found at the top of the left hand sidebar).
What RBE Wants:
RBE only publishes Heroic Adventure, predominantly Fantasy. Currently, RBE is only soliciting submissions of heroic-themed fiction, verse, or special projects (e.g., art collections, graphic novels) as
· Short fiction for our solicited anthologies
· Short fiction in collections of serial characters/worlds (70-90k words; 55+% unpublished material)
· Chapbooks of verse or novellas (>32 pages)
What RBE Does NOT Want:
· Alternative History
· Contemporary/Urban anything
· Fan-fiction of any kind
· Game-based storytelling of any kind
· Straight Horror
· Erotic Fantasy
· Romantic Fantasy
· Parody/Comic Fantasy
· Hard Science Fiction
· Science Fiction beyond that in Sword & Planet
When submitting Young Adult works, please take into consideration that, while RBE would certainly like to be the publisher of the next J.K. Rowling, we are not necessarily interested in publishing the next Harry Potter tale.
