RBE wants YOU to be a Subscriber!

Okay – silence is no longer golden. Not after three weeks or more. Is anyone else going to become a RBE Subscriber? I know I’ve been slow and silent far too often, but the hordes of fans and followers just haven’t appeared…You can find the very simple to use subscription option in the right-hand sidebar, just after the links to RBE’s presence elsewhere online.

There has to be more than 3 folks interested in what happens here – right?

About The Author

Jason
Jason M. Waltz is the founder and sole operator of RBE. A passion for heroic adventure fantasy drove him from comfortably reading it to sometimes writing it to occasionally reviewing it to carefully editing it to enthusiastically publishing it. Jason believes two things about the state of genre fiction: there will soon be a resurgence in the popularity of short fiction and in the popularity of heroic fantasy adventure, to include Sword & Sorcery. Jason plans for RBE to be a driving force in both.

    OK, I subscribed!

Even though I check your website every now and then for updates, I didn’t even know subscribing was an option. Hmm, maybe my wife’s right that I don’t notice things that I should… So, what are the benefits to it? Do subscribers get new RBE updates sent via e-mail? Do you e-mail us Von Darkmoor’s thoughts? Do we get a box of chocolates in the mail once a month?

    I subscribed. ^_^

    Poof! We’re up to 6!

    Thanks for subscribing :)

What subscribing gets you is an email notification of every new post/page/piece of information that appears here on the RBE site. That makes your life easier! Sorry, von D’s thoughts aren’t part of the package – cool idea, but so far as I can do it, they’d be separate subscriptions (I had subs running on von D’s but took it down after a month – the 0 was too embarrassing). As for chocolates…all I can suggest is finding someone to love you that much this Sunday ;)

I’ve got my iGoogle homepage set to tell me when you update, but I suppose it never hurts to double up.

    2-4-6-8, looking good ‘n’ I appreciate!

Since I haven’t been overwhelming you with all my none-updates Jason, doubling up works just fine ;)

  6. Bruce says:

OK. Here I am. Now, I’m expecting all kinds of ground breaking information, you know.

  7. Dale Strickland says:

I had RBE on the RSS feed already, but i’ll double up also :)

  8. Jason says:

Thanks guys! Can’t get any better than new info delivered right after you subscribe, eh?

‘ppreciate that, Dale – if’n I knew how to tabulate and display RSS count I’d do that too. RSS and I flirted for a bit, but I subscribed to soooo much stuff that there was like 600 new entries every time I looked at it – I never got any of ‘em read and then my email fell behind too. Figured I’d rather consolidate my losses and switched back to just emails (where I currently have 626 in the inbox, 366 unread).

As long as it keeps building, I like this readily viewable count of fans.

I’ll make sure to differentiate myself from da boss in future comments.

Start offering a free download that people have to sign up for updates to get, Jason.

Not a bad idea CW – but I haven’t a clue how to do that AND that would require more work out of me – something I’m not too keen on adding right now, just as I’d say my Demons authors wouldn’t be crazy about either ;)
