State of RBE – Nov 09
Been real busy. Figured out I had far too many irons in the fire, so many in fact, that the fire was just about out. Couldn’t have that happen, so decided to concentrate on getting things done.
Hearth and kin came first, so the house work had to get done. Just about. Starting to get back into the RBE swing of things as the house things wrap up.
I am really hoping to have Demons: Clash of Steel out for Christmas. It might be out last minute, but that’s my hope and goal. Heroicologies, unfortunately, will have to wait. Roar of the Crowd submissions have been…somewhat few and far between.
RotS and RotB are still and slowly selling respectively. Watch for Holiday Sale Specials to be announced on this website soon.
Thanks for supporting RBE! Enjoy your day!

Jason, glad to see things are getting back to normal. I’ve nearly wrapped up a longer project, so maybe I can get you a Crowds submission if you still need them once I’m ready.
Jason, I finished reading/reviewing Behemoth, now I’m just waiting for communication issues to get sorted out at the magazine.
Short version: Love. You’ve rekindled my love of Sword and Sorcery!
Glad to hear you’ve managed to whip the house into shape and are now turning that same drive and energy back onto RBE. Time to pluck out some of those irons and forge them into something beautiful. And with the forthcoming review hinted at above, there could be no better time.
Now that you’ve got that pesky housework out the way, pick up your sword and shield and come fight with us!
I’m definetly going to have to take advantage of the Holiday Specials. And I am planning on turning in a max word-limit story very soon for Roar of the Crowd. I had to think about it for awhile to come up with something and I am incorporating the most talked about section of the cover. Keep those fires burning.
Thanks Ty! I’d love to receive a RotC sub from you. Subs will be extended to January 31, so you have time…hopefully.
Jaym, I look forward to reading your review! I totally appreciate the short version
Thanks for the kind praise, but I believe your renewed enthusiasm for S&S is more properly due to the authors of RotB than the editor.
And Jason, I’d love to hammer those irons into a red-hot mass of steel that than transforms into the weapon of all weapons and leads the way forward into the New Age of Xtreme Heroic Fantasy Adventure!
Milton, I’ll come out and cross swords after you submit to RotC!
And David, the Holiday Specials VERY special, and I am totally psyched to hear about your cover-art-based story!
Cool that things are getting organized again – and doubly cool that I now have an extra two months to get that RotC story in decent shape…
