P&E Readers Poll Results In!

The Preditors & Editors 2008 results are in. Many of them. Still out and of importance to RBE and the RotS members is the SF&F Short Story results, where we have a good chance of placing at least one author’s title.

Return of the Sword can claim

TWO Top 10 finishers
- Bruce Durham’s “Valley of Bones” (Short Story SFF, 7th)
- E.E. Knight’s “Storytelling” (Nonfiction, tied 9th)
one ‘almost’ Top 10 finisher, with the book itself finishing tied for 11th in Anthologies

There’s a smattering of lower placings by a few of the rest of us as well. All-in-all, not too shabby for a new anthology by an unknown press and editor. Would have been totally cool to score a few more votes and bump RotS up into the Top 10, but I’m very happy to appear where we do.

My utmost appreciation to all involved in this terrific anthology!
